The central goal of my research is to understand the evolutionary convergences in a specific morphology of the anuran prepollex.

I have been working with Hylidae taxonomy and systematics since the beginning of my career. I am also interested in evolution of character systems in amphibians.

My research combines scientific collections material, DNA, and natural history information such as bioacoustics and behavior.
