Volunteers

Matthew oversees Department of Paleobiology volunteers who specifically work with the collections.  Volunteers, catalogue, photograph, organize, transport and package fossils in Paleobiology under his supervision.  Matthew trains volunteers in Collections Management protocols and in general paleontological knowledge.  If you are considering volunteering with Paleobiology you should email him.

Research Interests/Specialties

Matthew is a trained vertebrate paleontologist specializing in dinosaurs of the Hell Creek Formation and mammals of the Chadron and White River Formations.  Matthew is also a trained fossil preparator.
