Kumiko Matsui

JPSP Cross-Border Postdoctoral Fellow

My research interest is neuroanatomy and sensory organ of extinct marine mammals. I want to know how marine mammals adapted to various sea environments in the early stages of their evolution and marine environmental response of marine mammals during Oligocene to Miocene. I use 3D imaging (CT scanning, 3D surface scanning, and Photogrammetry) and morphological analyses for my research.
