As the Research Assistant to Dr. Conrad Labandeira, curator of fossil arthropods, I assist in his research in the analysis of insect damage of plants throughout the fossil record. My duties include planning and participating in field trips to fossil localities as well as designing and compiling databases of fossil specimen inventories. I also coordinate the volunteers for Dr. Labandeira, assist visiting scholars and handle fossil specimen loan requests.
