Research Interests
Sorting and identifying marine larval fishes with a focus on larvae from the Pacific, the Indo- Pacific and the Atlantic, clearing and staining larval specimens for osteology, databasing, performing all DNA protocols for DNA barcoding from the blackwater diving larval fish project, translation of Japanese scientific papers, educational outreach activities, especially for Japanese museum guests.
