Zach Foltz is the Station Manager for the Smithsonian’s Caribbean Coral Reef Ecosystems Program (CCRE) and the Dive Safety Officer for the Smithsonian Marine Station, Fort Pierce, and the CCRE Program. Zach oversees daily CCRE operations on Carrie Bow Cay, Belize, and all scientific diving that goes through SMS or CCRE. His primary research interests include coral reef fish identification and monitoring in mangrove, seagrass and coral reef habitats.
