Niamh Redmond

Niamh Redmond is the Program Manager for the Smithsonian Institution Barcode Network (SIBN). Since 2023 she is also Program Coordinator for the Ocean DNA initiative and the Mesophotic and Deep Benthic Communities project. Niamh initially joined the Smithsonian as a postdoctoral researcher working on the Porifera Tree of Life project with Dr. Allen Collins.
