Maria Granquist is a molecular technician in the department of Invertebrate Zoology at the National Museum of Natural History. She works in partnership with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) to genetically characterize collections from U.S. waters using COI barcoding and genome skimming methods.
