Biological Technician (Contractor)

Chris Kim is a molecular biologist and master’s candidate at the University of Maryland College Park. His research interests are within marine biology, evolution, and molecular genetics. His work primarily focuses on the construction and development of DNA sequences such as barcoding, whole genome sequencing, and gender typing on a variety of taxa. Currently, he is focused on the Ocean DNA initiative developing sequences for marine fishes and invertebrates as part of the museum collections.
