Research Interests

My research focuses on taxonomy, phylogenetics, and morphometrics. I am interested in the discovery and documentation of new species, the organization of those species using their historical genealogies of summarizing their relatedness, and the nature of the changes in their shapes across time and at various levels of relatedness. My group of interest is arachnids, especially orb-weaving spiders, but these techniques can be applied across the diversity of life.
