Ashton Smith joined the Global Genome Initiative as a Biorepository Technician in June of 2016. Ashton works as a liaison providing technical and management support to GGI funded researchers at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History (NMNH). He is also responsible for assisting in the curation of GGI collections in the NMNH Biorepository. Ashton received his B.A. in Anthropology from the College of William and Mary.
