Research Interests

Biodiversity, evolution, phylogenomics, population genomics and biogeography.

My postdoctoral research at the Smithsonian in mainly focused on assessing the role that hybridization has played in the diversification of the Vitis cinerea complex in North America. This will also hopefully shed new light into the historical biogeography of this taxon and facilitate a new taxonomic revision.
