Join us for a special The World and Me trio of programs during the months of July, August, and September as we explore the Past, Present, and Future!
August's theme is Present, and we will explore the Earth's Deep Sea Ecosystems!
Join us Saturday, August 10th, for a closer look at different animals that find their home at the bottom of the ocean! See specimens up close, learn about the amazing diversity found in the deep sea, and engage with educators and scientists from our museum.
We are also excited to welcome Local Motion Project for two workshops during the event! Join Tabata Vara and Marina Cridge from Local Motion Project for a dance and movement exploration inspired by creatures of the deep! Workshop spots are limited, so please check in with an educator when you arrive to claim a spot. Workshop times will be offered at:
- 10:15am - 10:45am
- 11:30am - 12:00pm
