Description
Join Dr. Gabrielle Hillyer in shallows to study the wild soft-shell clam, a subsistence and fishery staple of many communities on the East Coast. You’ll learn about the life cycle of the clam and many other shellfish, the history of shellfish harvesting stretching back almost 10,000 years, and if you’re very lucky, she may share some recipes along the way.
