I am a paleobiologist focusing on the association between shape and functional, and how that influences ecological diversity across the over 300 million years of the clade Synapsida, to which all living mammals belong. Through studying the arms and legs of fossil animals I am testing the geologic and evolutionary timing of the massive ecological diversity that Mammalia is known for.
