| These little deermice have been trapped in the mountains of Mexico's Trans-volcanic Belt at elevations of 1,980 to 3,085 m, but little is known about their lifestyle. Presumably, like other deermice, they are nocturnal and primarily vegetarians, but consume insects occasionally.
