| The range of the Orizaba Deermouse extends from the highlands of east-central Mexico through the mountains of Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. Although its range is widespread, it is less-studied than many other deermice, and little specific information is available about its lifestyle. Presumably it is nocturnal, active year-round, and eats both insects and plant matter, like other Peromyscus.
