World Ocean Day - Connecting the Ocean and the ArtsKids & Families
Saturday, June 6, 2020, 10am – 5pm EDT
Come celebrate the ocean at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History’s World Ocean Day, with performing and visual artists, scientists, and community leaders. This event will introduce youth, families, and museum visitors — through an artistic lens — to the important role the ocean plays, and the individual and community actions that help protect it.
Enjoy free performances, participate in workshops, and talk to artists, performers, scientists and community leaders who are passionate about the ocean and ocean conservation. Leave with a better understanding of your connection to the ocean and inspiration for how you can contribute to ocean solutions.
