The World & Me Family Program Series Learn together as a family about your connection to the world through explorations of nature, science and culture. Led by museum educators, families explore a natural history topic through a book reading, create-and-take activities, demonstrations, and a chance to look more closely at the museum’s collections. These programs are designed for ages 3 to 8. What happens during a "World & Me" program? 10:30 – 10:45 a.m. - Free exploration of hands-on stations 10:45 - 11:00 a.m. - Book reading 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon - Interactive activities This month, families will use scientific tools like binoculars, magnifiers and microscopes to learn how close looking can unlock information about the unseen and unnoticed world around them.  After a book reading, families will learn and practice observation techniques and study museum collections.
