We are dedicated to inspiring people of all ages to better understand the natural world and our place in it, by instilling a sense of wonder and responsibility through exhibitions, programs, and online resources.

High School Internships

Learn about the museum’s paid summer internship program for youth ages 14 to 18 who are enrolled in high school in the D.C. area. Apply by February 28, 2025.

We offer in-person and online school programs aligned with standards for Grades K to 12. Registration is open for programs through June 13.
