Butterflies + Plants: Partners in Evolution

Learn about ways in which butterflies and other animals have evolved, adapted, and diversified together with their plant partners over tens of millions of years. The activities in this guide explore the processes and patterns of evolution as illustrated in the exhibit itself.

The guide is written for 8th grade reading level but can be used by younger children in the company of an adult. A list of Web resources on butterflies, geologic time and evolution is included. The guide is formatted for color printers using 8 x 14 inch paper.
