Leopard Lacewing (Cethosia cyane)

Geographic Distribution: Asia (southeast Asia).
 
Wingspan: 75-85 mm.
 
Larval host plants: Passiflora spp. (passion flower).
 
Habitats: Tropical forest.
 
Identification: Males and females have similar, ornate, lacy patterns on the wings, but males have a bright reddish-orange background color, which is replaced by a brownish color on the topside of the female. Both sexes have a jagged, scalloped border on both forewings and hindwings.
