Wingspan: 28-30 mm (2-2 3/8 in).
 
Larval host plants: Cestrum lanatum, C. standleyi (Solanaceae).
 
Habitats: 500 - 1600 meters in association with disturbed forest habitats.
 
Identification: Easily recognizable by transparent wings. Heavy black forewing apex and a distinct white forewing band.
