Larval host plants: Cultivated Citrus spp., especially orange (C. sinensis) and lime (C. aurantifolia) as well as other related plants.
Habits: Cultivated land and lowlands.
Identification: Variable. Females have three color forms. One looks similar to the males the others mimic other species of swallowtails. Males are mostly black with a band of cream spots running through the center of the hindwing and continuing on the outer margin of the forewing.
