Mammals Hall Event Photo

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History relies on the support of generous donors to accomplish its mission of inspiring curiosity, discovery, and learning about nature and culture through its outstanding research, collections, exhibitions, and education.

Corporations and organizations that support the Museum through an unrestricted contribution are invited to celebrate their gift with an after-hours special event. The Museum’s grand Beaux-Arts style architecture, combined with exhibits of the world’s largest and finest natural history collections, provides an extraordinary setting for dinners and receptions. Our donors entertain guests under the North Atlantic Right Whale in the Ocean Hall, host dinners around the world-famous Hope Diamond, and invite their guests to network among the Museum’s exciting displays of dinosaurs, mammals, and world cultures.

Please contact the Office of Special Events for more information about our policies and procedures for events ranging from 35 to 3,500 guests.
