| The Northern Ghost Bat is one of only a few bats with white fur. Its face and ears are yellowish and its wing and tail membranes are pinkish. It often roosts in the fronds of palm trees, hanging by its feet under a leaf, either alone or with a few others. It usually forages high in the air, and often alone, although groups have been seen preying on moths attracted to street lights.
