Sugar glider - Australia - Eucalyptus Forest

Sugar glider (Petaurus breviceps)
The sugar glider is a specialized kind of possum that descends in long arcs from one tree to the next. Instead of flying, it pushes off with its hind legs, extends its fur-covered membranes (which stretch from wrist to ankle), and soars as far as 60 m (200 ft) between trees. It steers with its tail, which is as long as its body.
