Ogcocephalus corniger (Bradbury, 1980)
size of specimen: 16 centimeters (6.3 inches)

Flat and wide, batfish look like they've been stepped on. They feed by skimming for prey along sandy bottoms. This longnose batfish had a taste for mollusks.
