Magnum Photos

Magnum Photos is a photographic cooperative founded in 1947 by a group of pioneering photographers who had recorded and survived the atrocities of WWII. Today, Magnum’s photographers continue to chronicle the world and interpret its peoples, events, issues, and personalities. Photography has proven to be a catalyst for change, and Magnum Photos continues that ambition through the interests and photographs of its membership.

Have you been displaced by or witnessed human displacement due to environmental disaster? The photos of this exhibit represent the spirit of photojournalism and its power to document human events. We invite you to share your experiences.
