The Fénykövi Elephant

The National Museum of Natural History's
iconic elephant has been remade

The new installation incorporates the latest scientific information about these magnificent but endangered animals. Explore the evolution of elephants, discover insights into elephant behavior, and learn about the conservation challenges that threaten today's wild elephants. A new visitor information desk has also been incorporated to make visits to the museum easier and more enjoyable. Come see the new installation now open to the public.
